Major Warzone Season 1 Reloaded buffs make one Assault Rifle a must-use

As a seasoned Warzone player with countless hours under my belt, I must say, this Season 1 Reloaded update has truly shaken things up! The AK-74 buff is nothing short of a game-changer. I’ve always had a soft spot for the rugged charm of the AK series, and this newfound power is music to my ears.

In Season 1 Reloaded of Warzone, there have been significant improvements (boosts) across multiple Assault Rifles, making one particularly impressive choice stand out among them all.

Each significant update for Call of Duty typically involves adjustments both boosting and reducing the power of various weapons, and Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is no different. In the Battle Royale mode specifically, this update incorporated substantial alterations to a popular category within the game.

In response to worries about being overpowered at longer ranges, developers have boosted the bullet speed for all Black Ops 6 Assault Rifles in Warzone. This adjustment aims to keep ARs as viable long-range choices, allowing them to contend with Light Machine Guns and Marksman Rifles more effectively.

The speed of various firearms has been boosted by varying degrees. Notably, the AK-74 received the greatest enhancement, going from 760 meters per second to 830 meters per second. In contrast, both the Krig C and AS VAL experienced a 65 meter per second increase, while the rest saw an upgrade closer to 50 meters per second.

Consequently, Assault Rifles in Warzone will pack a stronger impact due to their rounds striking quicker and with improved precision. Additionally, when shooting from long ranges, you’ll find that you don’t have to make many adjustments to your aim or lead the targets as significantly.

Besides the significant alterations made to the Assault Rifle in Season 1 Reloaded, it’s worth noting that underperforming guns within this category have also received damage range enhancements, as mentioned in the patch notes.

Once more, the AK-74 emerged victorious, boasting a remarkable capacity to inflict damage ranging from 33 up to an impressive 71 meters. Given these capabilities, it now undeniably ranks among the top ARs in Warzone, matching the mighty XM4 in terms of power and reach.

As a fellow enthusiast, I can’t hide my excitement about the AK-74 ruling battles in Season 1 Reloaded! If you’re planning to use the Overkill perk and need a solid meta Submachine Gun partner, consider the Jackal PDW or the Striker from Modern Warfare 3.
