As a music enthusiast with a penchant for digital nostalgia, I must say Apple Music Replay has become my new favorite feature! With a library spanning over a decade, it’s fascinating to see how my tastes have evolved through the years – from boy bands to indie rock, and back again.
Apple Music Replay provides music enthusiasts with a chance to review their annual listening habits, including statistics from past years as well.
Just as Spotify presents its Wrapped feature, Apple Music offers a Replay tool, providing users with a summary of their music-listening habits throughout the year.
The application compiles a personalized ranking for you based on your history with Apple Music, including favorite tracks, albums, musicians, playlists, music categories, and radio stations. Additionally, Apple Music takes into account the number of times you’ve played something on their platform and the duration of your listening sessions to determine your Replay.
Each year, Apple Music Replay delves into my music listening habits, providing a comprehensive overview, while simultaneously categorizing my monthly trends. Upon receiving my annual recap, I’ll have the exciting opportunity to discover if I rank among the top 100, 500, or even 1000 listeners in any of the segments they analyze!
Users of Apple Music can view their Yearly Recaps (Replays) from past years. Furthermore, they have the option to save their Replay as a playlist within their music collection.

Here’s a more conversational way to describe the features of Netflix Wrapped: It breaks down your viewing habits by showing the total time spent watching, your busiest binge day, top-rated and least-favorite shows, completed series you loved most, as well as favorite actors, directors, and genres that you’ve enjoyed throughout the year.
