Having traveled to over 100 McDonald’s locations since 2019 (and counting), I can confidently assert that this new holiday-themed offering is a must-try for any fan. The inclusion of Dill Pickle McShaker Fries, a nod to the Grinch’s mischievous nature, adds an exciting twist to the usual menu, and the Grinch socks are the perfect accompaniment.
McDonald’s Canada has introduced their latest holiday-themed offering – the Grinch Meal. Instead of the usual promotional item accompanying such limited-time collaborations, customers purchasing the Grinch Meal will receive a pair of festive Christmas socks as an added treat.
McDonald’s has a reputation for designing meals around trendy themes such as Pokémon, Dragon Ball, and Taylor Swift.
As Christmas approaches, McDonald’s Canada is introducing the Grinch Meal inspired by the film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” This special offer starts on Tuesday, December 3, and will be available as long as supplies hold out.
Speaking about the Grinch Meal, the Brand Strategy Director for McDonald’s Canada, Rebecca Smart, expressed her excitement to introduce a festive dish to their menu, as they haven’t had a holiday-themed option for quite some time.
Smart stated that the beloved figure of The Grinch, a classic holiday character, is cherished by Canadians of all ages. To incorporate The Grinch into our holiday menu this year while staying true to his character, we emphasized his mischievous side and had him playfully manipulate our menu to create something amusing and festive for everyone in Canada – introducing The Grinch Meal.
It’s been quite some time since we last introduced a holiday-themed initiative. We’re thrilled to share some joyful holiday spirit with our audience through this new campaign.
What’s in the McDonald’s Grinch Meal?
- Your choice of a Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or McChicken
- Dill Pickle McShaker Fries
- Medium fountain drink
- Mismatch Grinch socks
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that Dill Pickle McShaker Fries are now available at Canadian outlets! But here’s the catch – you’ll need to sprinkle on the dill pickle seasoning yourself and give your bag of golden fries a good shake to ensure each delightful inch is kissed by that tangy flavor. Enjoy the DIY experience, my fellow potato lovers!
As a diehard fan, I’m thrilled to share that apart from the Grinch Meal, McDonald’s Canada is rolling out exclusive Grinch-inspired cup designs for their piping hot beverages! Can’t wait to sip on my favorite brew in style this holiday season!
And though a loyal McDonald’s customer might argue that ‘all’ McDonald’s locations are worth dining at, especially when they offer exclusive meals, one customer, Gary He, has eaten at over 100 locations since 2019.
