As a seasoned Pokemon Trainer with decades of card battles under my belt, let me tell you that the latest Pocket Venusaur Drop Event has truly captured my attention, not just for the coveted alt art Grass-type card, but primarily for the unassuming Jigglypuff promo card.

The Live Pokemon TCG Pocket Venusaur Drop Event has begun, and although numerous players are chasing the latest alt art Grass-type card, a different promotional card is worth everyone’s attention.

Similar to the Lapras drop event, the most recent Venusaur event offers players the opportunity to acquire five fresh promo cards for their collections. Yet, it’s the basic 50 HP card – Jigglypuff – that steals the spotlight in this event.

As a gamer, I can tell you that having Jigglypuff in my deck is like having a reliable friend who always shows up when needed. This cute Pokémon doesn’t just hang out; it stalls other cards, giving me a chance to strategize and counter their sweep through my entire deck. What makes Jigglypuff even more valuable is that it’s a colorless basic card, making it easy to incorporate into any deck I’m playing with.

If you’re unable to secure the Venusaur alt art card in the latest Drop Event and instead receive Jigglypuff, don’t worry! You now possess a card that can effectively counter some top-tier Pokémon.
