As a long-time Twitch enthusiast, I must say that the recent drama between Kai Cenat and Trainwreck has been quite intriguing! It’s not every day we hear about million-dollar offers on the table for streamers.
As a gamer, I’d like to share that Trainwreck, one of the partners at Stake, has responded to Kai Cenat’s statement about receiving a $60 million offer from Stake-owned platform for streaming the initial Mafiathon event. In his own words, he acknowledged the conversation but clarified that no such financial agreement was proposed or accepted.
Kai Cenat’s follow-up streamathon, famously called Mafiathon 2, is set for Twitch in November, and it’s been shattering previous records.
In only 11 days on the stream, Kai broke his own previous record of more than 306,000 subscribers and then went on to surpass Ironmouse’s record of over 326,000 subscribers, making him the most subscribed Twitch streamer for a second time.
Immediately following another record-breaking achievement, Cenat disclosed that Kick proposed a $60M deal for him to broadcast the initial Mafiathon on their platform. However, he declined this offer since accepting it would necessitate his departure from Twitch once the marathon stream concluded.
Shortly afterwards, TrainwrecksTV, a partner at Kick, responded to Cenat’s statement and explained in detail the actual offer made to the Twitch celebrity, stating that it was significantly less than what had been initially suggested.
For clarity, let me clarify this point. The amount we discussed wasn’t $60M for a subathon, but rather $22M for an entire year. During the first three months, there would be no exclusivity, followed by another three months of exclusivity. However, this offer was declined initially and then a bit more was requested afterward.
“But it was nowhere near $60M for just a subathon.”
Kai Cenat’s Kick deal wasn’t about $60 million for a marathon stream, but rather $22 million for a whole year.

He added: “I really hate getting into that kinda stuff, but when people start throwing numbers around it really f**ks Kick over. Then you have other creators looking at it [and wanting the same]. I really hate getting into stuff like that, but unfortunately, it had to be clarified.”
During his second Mafiathon stream, Kai Cenat not only set a new sub-counter record but also shattered Streamer Awards records by being the first nominee for five distinct categories.
He has been put forward for several awards including Best Collaborative Stream, Streamer of the Year, Gamer of the Year, the title of the Best Just Chatting Streamer, and the Best Marathon Stream award.
