Chim Called On Star Trek Knowledge To Save A Billionaire Swallowed By A Whale

Mark Consuelos recently joined the cast of *9-1-1* as Tripp Hauser, a billionaire character. Although his character’s space program reminds people of real-life billionaires, the storyline of a billionaire being swallowed by a whale is purely fictional.

It’s true, that event happened on September 11th, but considering the show once featured a tornado filled with bees, it wasn’t that shocking. What *was* surprising was how quickly Chim took charge as acting captain and rescued Hauser, remembering something he’d seen in the movie *Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home*.

The crew used the siren’s sound, amplified through the firehoses, to encourage the whale to surface and release Hauser before he suffocated. As thanks for Hen’s life-saving CPR, Hauser offered her and a guest a spot on his next space mission, leading to the question of who she decided to bring along.

Hen And Athena Are Headed To Space, And Of Course, There’s A Disaster On The Way

Hen had many potential partners for the space mission, but she chose Athena. Fans of *9-1-1* probably anticipated some trouble, and the show quickly confirmed their suspicions: once Hen and Athena reach the space station, they’re immediately caught in a dangerous geostorm caused by space debris. Watching that scene, I was really impressed with how calm Athena and Hen stayed! Honestly, after nine seasons of dealing with emergencies, it’s almost like they’re used to things being totally chaotic – they just know how to handle it, even when it looks incredibly stressful.
