Stonegate follows a group of teens – Nolan, Jaxson, Diego, and Skyler – as they explore an abandoned building with a creepy past. Rumors and old video footage hint at a doctor who was doing terrible things there. As they document their investigation, they start noticing strange, shadowy figures appearing in their own recordings.

When Nolan starts behaving oddly, his father, Marshall, is forced to confront his own history in order to protect his son from an approaching threat. But revisiting the past means facing painful and unsettling truths he’d rather avoid.

Verdict on Stonegate

Recap

I just saw this movie, and it really got under my skin. It’s about four teens who stumble upon something seriously creepy in an old, deserted hospital. What they find doesn’t just scare them – it *haunts* them, and the truth, when it finally comes out, is genuinely shocking. It’s one of those stories that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Best Parts

The movie centers around a compelling mystery that’s a joy to watch unfold. The actors, especially the teenage leads, have a believable and natural connection. It’s always fascinating to see a town hiding secrets, and this film explores that idea particularly well.

Worst Parts

Some of the haunting moments fall a bit short and don’t create the shock value many others have.

Final ThoughtsStonegate is a great dive into a town’s history and disturbing past.
