It came out in December 2024, so it’s a pretty recent release too.
Tokyo Ghoul takes place in a hidden world where humans are locked in conflict with Ghouls – creatures who look like people but need to eat flesh to survive. The story follows Ken Kaneki, a quiet college student, whose life changes forever when a date goes horribly wrong, turning him into a half-ghoul. Now caught between the human and ghoul worlds, Kaneki must navigate a dangerous new reality and fight to maintain his humanity. He soon discovers that ghouls aren’t all monsters; some want to live peacefully with humans, while others, weary of hiding, are more aggressive.
Even though many fans know and love the Tokyo Ghoul anime, the original manga is also fantastic, boasting beautiful yet dark artwork and a more intense atmosphere. Both the Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul: re manga box sets are now available at significantly reduced prices, offering a lot of reading material. The Tokyo Ghoul set includes all 14 volumes of the initial series, and the Tokyo Ghoul:re set has the 16 volumes of the sequel. Each box set also comes with special double-sided posters.
