How do you play the NBA The Run Beta?
Get ready for the NBA THE RUN Open Beta this Saturday, May 30th! You can play on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC (via Steam) from 10 AM to 6 PM Pacific Time. Plus, it’s a Server Slam – meaning you’ll be testing the game’s servers with lots of other players!

The NBA The Run beta will be available to download on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam on May 30, 2026, at 10am Pacific Time / 1pm Eastern Time. No access code or prior sign-up is required.
The NBA The Run Beta will be available from 10am to 6pm Pacific Time (1pm to 9pm Eastern Time) on the launch day, giving players about eight hours to try it out. You’ll be able to play in several different modes, including:
- Knockout Squads – 3v3 streetball game where you control one of the three players on the court
- Knockout Solos – Control an entire team of 3v3 in a 3v3 streetball game

NBA The Run offers a fast-paced, arcade-style basketball experience where you can really show off your skills. Players can perform four unique, powerful dunks and taunts, along with new moves like crossovers, Shammgods, and Slip N’ Slides.
The game launches on June 9th, 2026, and you can pre-order it in two different versions. The complete game will include a Run The World Tournament, over 30 NBA players, and five original streetball stars. Each character has a distinct playing style, making them all feel different. We’re excited to test out all the legends in the upcoming beta!
