Debora is confirmed appearing in Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World

Yuji Horii announced on social media that Debora Briscoletti will be a character in the upcoming game, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World. While Debora wasn’t in the original SNES and PlayStation 2 versions of Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, she was added in later versions for the DS and mobile platforms, and will now appear in this new Monsters game as well.

Just so you know, the latest Dragon Quest Monsters game is officially the fourth main installment in the series. Its Japanese title, Dragon Quest Monsters 4: Kare Ki no Kuni no Bianca & Flora, hints at this, and can be roughly translated as Bianca & Flora (Nera) from the Country of Withered Tree.

Here’s Yuji Horii’s original Japanese tweet, followed by our English translation. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam), but we don’t have a release date yet.

So, Monster Rancher 4 is officially announced! I’m already trying to decide if I’ll go with Bianca or Flora as my main character. Honestly, it feels less like an adventure game and more like a chance to raise and support your favorite monsters – total ‘pushi-katsu’ vibes! And yes, good news for all of us, Deborah will be back too! I’m super excited for the release, can’t wait to play!

Monsters 4 has been officially announced! Players will be able to choose between Bianca and Flora (Nera) as their main character. The game seems to focus more on raising and supporting your favorite monsters than on a traditional adventure.
