Toho Announces Frieren Season 3 Reveal Scheduled for Anime Expo 2026

Toho Animation announced on social media that Anime Expo 2026 will include a panel discussion with the creators of the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime.

The panel will feature key members of the production team, including director Tomoya Kitagawa, supporting director Keiichiro Saito, character designer Keisuke Kojima, and animation producer Yuichiro Fukushi. Kojima will also be sharing a special illustration created for the event.

Toho has announced that their panel will share updates about Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 3, possibly including details about production or insights from the people making the anime. While nothing is confirmed, it’s a good chance to learn what the creative team has planned.

Having the English voice actors attend will likely be a big draw for fans, since the dub was key to the series becoming popular in North America.
