Happinet and NIS America have released a free demo for the PC version of Brigandine Abyss on Steam.
This demo gives players a taste of the full game by letting them play through the first two seasons of two of the six main factions: Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will. However, save progress from the demo won’t carry over to the full game. A limited edition of the game is available for pre-order from the NIS America store for $89.99. This edition includes the game itself (either a PS5 disc or a Switch game key card), an art book, the original soundtrack, acrylic stands, a set of faction pins, and a cloth map of the game world.
Brigandine Abyss will be available on PC (via Steam) starting August 26th, and on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on August 27th.

Experience the epic stories of Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will! Choose to play as Largo, investigating the corruption of dragons, or side with Garnet and her company as they resist a powerful empire. Build your army by recruiting monsters, sending them on missions, and carefully planning your strategy in the Organization Phase. Then, test your tactics in thrilling, grid-based battles during the Invasion Phase. (Please note: you can’t carry progress from the demo into the full game.)
Brigandine Abyss is the latest game in a long-running series, set in a brand-new world that’s easy for anyone to jump into. Centuries ago, the powerful magical armor known as the Brigandine stopped the Abyssloa Empire. Now, the empire is back, seeking to take over the world. You’ll fight against the darkness by gathering resources, commanding powerful monsters, and choosing from six different story campaigns to challenge the empire’s rise.
If you’re looking for a fresh way to play Brigandine, check out Mission Mode! You can lead any of the 24 different factions, each with unique goals to achieve. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or prefer a more relaxed experience, Brigandine Abyss offers hundreds of hours of gameplay.
The game features a three-part system for both the story and Mission Mode. First, you’ll plan and prepare in the Organization Phase. Then, you’ll launch attacks on enemy bases during the Attack Phase. Finally, you’ll engage in direct battles on the field in the Invasion Phase! Brigandine Abyss keeps the series’ signature hexagonal grid strategy, challenging you to carefully consider your units’ abilities, elemental strengths, and army development to win battles.
