I’m glad to hear that Playground Games and Turn 10, the teams behind Forza Horizon 6, are looking into what players like me are saying about the AI. A lot of us have been finding the difficulty a bit off since the game came out, so it’s awesome they’re addressing it!
The development team recently addressed player feedback about the Drivatar AI opponents. Many racers have found that higher difficulty levels can feel unbalanced and frustrating.
Players have told us that the AI can be too difficult to compete against, particularly on harder settings, according to the developers.
The team is looking at what players are saying and how the game is being played to see if any adjustments are needed. They’ll let everyone know when they have firm plans to share.
Since its release, one of the most discussed problems in Forza Horizon 6 is the behavior of the AI opponents. Players on platforms like Reddit, Discord, YouTube, and Twitch, as well as through the official Forza feedback channels, are reporting that the AI sometimes speeds up unexpectedly, has inconsistent racing speeds, and causes sudden difficulty spikes during races.
Although the developers haven’t revealed specifics about how they’ll rebalance the game, the update suggests they’re already talking about making changes.
Thanks for playing Forza Horizon 6! We’ve had a fantastic week with you all, and we’re continuing to improve the game. Here’s how we’ll use your feedback to create updates and make Forza Horizon 6 even better.

Playground Games also addressing PC issues
So, the team at Playground Games said they’re still digging into some issues PC players have been running into, aside from the stuff related to the AI. They’re working on fixing those problems too, which is good to hear!
The development team is addressing performance problems on AMD graphics cards, sound issues on certain PCs, and crashes caused by loading errors.
The team has already released a quick fix for some problems with loading, and they’re planning more improvements in upcoming updates.
The team advised players to make sure their graphics drivers are up to date. They also noted that older NVIDIA graphics cards, such as the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080, don’t meet the game’s minimum requirements.
In addition to bug fixes, Playground Games announced that Forza Horizon 6 will receive regular monthly updates to its Festival Playlist, starting with the current “Welcome to Japan” series. They also confirmed plans to add more cars, features, expansions, and eventually release the game on PlayStation 5 later this year.
