Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3 ‘The Lethe Below the Living’ Releases on June 1

HoYoverse announced that the next update for Honkai: Star Rail, Version 4.3 titled “The Lethe Below the Living,” will be available on June 1st. A recent livestream showcased details about the new characters, story content, and gameplay features coming in the update.

This update introduces Mortenax Blade, a powerful new 5-star character who uses fire. His special ability, “Fornax Ex Corpore,” creates a unique field and boosts his power. Alongside this, the “Gift of Tempered Blade” event starts, letting players get a free outfit – “Karmic Fire of the Distant Shore” – once they unlock Mortenax Blade.

Yao Guang will be available again in the first half of the upcoming Warp events, and Cyrene and Phainon will return as limited-time characters in the second half. In-game events include a “Wispae Amusement Park” coming to World in Canvas, hosted by the IPC. Plus, a new “Starward Mode” is being added to three challenge modes: Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. You can watch the trailer for Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.3 below.

You can now play Honkai: Star Rail on Android devices through the Google Play Store, on iOS devices through the App Store, on PlayStation 5, and on PC via the Epic Games Store. The game recently received a major update, Version 4.2 “So Laughed the Masses,” on April 22nd, which added new playable characters – Silver Wolf LV.999 and Evanescia – a new Path of Elation for your Trailblazer, and new story content on Planarcadia. Plus, HoYoverse collaborated with the animation studio MAPPA to create and release a new concept trailer for the game called “Death in the Afternoon.”
