Roger Clark, the actor who voiced Arthur Morgan, has shared his thoughts on a potential Red Dead Redemption 3 and expressed his interest in returning to the role if it’s made.
Roger Clark’s portrayal of Arthur Morgan is considered one of the most compelling character arcs in video game history, captivating players with the character’s development throughout the expansive game.
The first game’s story introduced players to characters like Dutch van der Linde and John Marston, and fans have often wondered if a future Red Dead Redemption game might delve even further into their histories.
On the TopMob podcast ‘Fall Damage,’ Clark discussed the possibility of another Red Dead game. He thinks Rockstar would be making a mistake not to revisit the Western genre.
Roger Clark thinks Red Dead 3 is coming but it’ll be a long time
Clark said people constantly ask him about the release of Red Dead 3. He jokingly told them he always replies it’s coming ‘tomorrow after lunchtime’.
He admitted he wasn’t sure, but felt it would be foolish not to pursue another one. He believes another will happen eventually, though it likely won’t be for quite some time.

Rockstar Games is currently aiming to launch GTA 6 on November 19, 2026. What the company will work on after that remains a mystery, likely due to the extensive development time already invested in Grand Theft Auto VI.
According to Clark, the story for Red Dead Redemption 3 could be completely original, though it might feature brief appearances from characters players already know.
The actor isn’t sure if he’ll be in the game, but he’d definitely answer the call if Rockstar asked him to reprise his role.
While a new Red Dead game hasn’t been officially announced, Red Dead Redemption 2 has become incredibly popular, ranking as the fourth best-selling video game ever – surpassing even Wii Sports.
