Tom Hardy fired from MobLand Season 3 after clashing with producers: Report

I just heard some crazy news – apparently Tom Hardy won’t be back for Season Three of Mobland! It sounds like he and the show’s producers had some serious disagreements, and now reports say he’s been let go. I’m honestly shocked – he was amazing on the show, but it seems like things got really tense behind the scenes.

Mobland immediately became a hit for Paramount+, drawing viewers with its impressive cast – including Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, and Paddy Considine – and its intense, realistic portrayal of the gangster world.

Mobland centers on two London crime families locked in a bitter rivalry, filled with violence, betrayal, and fights for control of the city’s criminal world. Actor Stephen Hardy played the popular and intimidating character Harry Da Souza, but recent news indicates his role on the show has been unexpectedly cut short.

Tom Hardy reportedly fired from Mobland after clashes behind the scenes

Tom Hardy won’t be back for a third season of Mobland due to growing conflicts on set, according to a report by Matthew Belloni, formerly of The Hollywood Reporter.

According to reports, Paramount decided not to renew Tom Hardy’s contract for a third season following disagreements with producers Jez Butterworth and David Glasser during the making of Season 2, as stated by Belloni.

The report stated that Tom Hardy and the film crew began to clash during production. He was frequently late, often offered suggestions for script changes, and even tried to rewrite lines. He also reportedly felt frustrated that the story, which was originally centered on his character, was evolving to give more focus to Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, and the rest of the cast.

According to a source, things reached a point where actor Tom Butterworth considered leaving the project. Instead of letting him go, Paramount decided to let Hardy go, although Hardy’s contract includes an option for a third season, meaning he could have chosen to leave as well.

As of today, Tom Hardy and Paramount Global haven’t officially responded to the report. While a third season is being made, there’s no confirmed release date yet.
