Mick Jagger will play the father of Josh O’Connor’s character in the upcoming film Three Incestuous Sisters, directed by Alice Rohrwacher. He was recently seen arriving on the Italian island of Stromboli, where filming is taking place, reportedly by helicopter, according to local news source La Sicilia. Locals say Jagger will be treated like any other visitor to the island. In the movie, Jagger will portray a lighthouse keeper and the father of Paris, a character desired by three sisters played by Saoirse Ronan, Jessie Buckley, and Dakota Johnson.
This movie is based on a graphic novel by Audrey Niffenegger. It tells the story of three sisters who all fall for the same man—the lighthouse keeper’s son—leading to plenty of drama. The original book was only printed a small number of times in 2005, so finding a copy to read before the film comes out might be tricky – you may need to get lucky or borrow it from a library.
