Okay, so the police just dropped some pretty wild news about ChudTheBuilder. Apparently, they found a bulletproof vest and a plane ticket to Istanbul when they searched his place! It’s all getting really serious now, and they’ve officially set some rules he has to follow – like, conditions for his bail, I guess. It’s definitely a strange turn of events, and I’m honestly a little worried about what’s going on with him.
Dalton Eatherly, known online as ChudTheBuilder, is a livestreamer from the Nashville area who films himself while out in public. He’s become known locally for videos where he’s accused of using racist language towards Black people and provoking confrontations.
On May 13th, Chud and Joshua Fox had a fight outside the Montgomery County Courthouse. During the altercation, Chud fired a gun, and in the process, he accidentally shot himself.
He faced charges including attempted murder, using a gun while committing a serious crime, aggravated assault, and putting someone in danger with a deadly weapon.
On May 21, Eatherly was in court for a bond hearing in which his $1.25M was reset at $1M.
New evidence in ChudTheBuilder shooting revealed
Clarksville Now reports that detectives found a lot of new evidence while searching the truck and home of ChudTheBuilder.
Officials say they found an airline ticket for a flight to Istanbul on May 22nd, along with body armor, a bulletproof vest, weapons, and ammunition.
Investigators say they discovered many videos with racist content on his devices and social media accounts.
Judge Poland set bail at $1 million for ChudTheBuilder, with strict conditions if he is released. He would be required to wear an ankle monitor, give up any weapons he owns, and refrain from discussing the case online or with the media.
He remains in the Montgomery County Jail after failing to post bail. His next court date is set for May 26th for a preliminary hearing.
