Bitget, the self-proclaimed “Universal Exchange” (UEX) for those who think blockchain is the next big thing (after the wheel), has kicked off its second-year partnership with UNICEF’s Game Changers Coalition (GCC). Because what the world truly needs is more financial literacy and AI modules, right after teaching kids how to mine Bitcoin with a shovel in 2026.
GCC, UNICEF’s latest brainchild, is now on a mission to save humanity by teaching digital skills to 642,000 young people (and their parents, because let’s face it, they’re just as clueless). With a focus on girls-because 52% of participants are women, but who’s counting?-they’re spreading the gospel of technology across eight countries. Imagine a world where kids in Cambodia can hack a game instead of hacking into your Wi-Fi. Progress!
Bitget joined the party in June 2025, because why not? They’re throwing in curriculum updates and geographic expansion, because nothing says “global outreach” like adding three more countries. Last year, they even sent their CMO to Cambodia to high-five students and declare that digital education is the key to employment, entrepreneurship, and “the digital economy.” Revolutionary stuff.
The partnership also brought the “Game Jam,” a 40-day event where kids in emerging economies built video games. Because what better way to solve global inequality than letting teens create pixelated dragons while mentors sip artisanal coffee?
“Technology is moving faster than education systems,” said Bitget’s CEO, Gracy Chen, “but we’ll catch up eventually. Our real goal? To make sure they’re so fluent in blockchain, they’ll forget how to use cash.” A bold vision, or the first step toward a dystopian future where everyone speaks in emojis?
UNICEF’s Thomas Davin chimed in: “Too many kids are locked out of digital skills! GCC is our answer. Together, we’ll fix everything!” Because what the world needs is more partnerships between crypto exchanges and NGOs, solving problems faster than a meme stock rally.
This year, the partnership will expand into three new countries and introduce AI modules. Because nothing says “future-ready” like teaching kids to train robots while they’re still learning to tie their shoes.
About Bitget
Founded in 2018, Bitget is the “largest Universal Exchange,” serving 120 million users. Their wallet app has 80 million downloads, because nothing says “financial freedom” like trusting a crypto platform named after a verb. They also partner with LALIGA and MotoGP™-because why not mix football, motorcycles, and blockchain?
About UNICEF
UNICEF operates in 190+ countries, helping kids. They also have a Luxembourg branch that raises money and fights inequality. Because sometimes, even the kids in the global north need a reminder that poverty exists.
