TikTok’s favorite pug gets $160k in donations for seizure treament

A social media-famous pug is receiving an incredible amount of support, with a fundraiser for its medical treatment exceeding $160,000.

King Chilli, a popular pug with 1.5 million TikTok followers, is getting special care at a neurology hospital after experiencing several seizures.

Oliver and Helena Cutts, a couple from the UK, started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of their pet’s care. They hoped to raise £125,000 (about $168,000). As of today, the fundraiser has exceeded expectations, bringing in over $161,000 – almost reaching their target goal.

Wow, this fundraiser is blowing up! It’s already become the biggest animal-related GoFundMe of 2026, and it’s only been running for a little over a week. Seriously, the support has been incredible!

King Chilli the Pug fans donate thousands of dollars for treatment

The owners created the page because Chili, their pet, might need ongoing medical care, and their income from social media wasn’t consistent. They didn’t want to pressure his followers to contribute financially, though.

We’re not asking anyone to feel obligated to pay for anything for Chilli. We just want to let people know that if Chilli has brought joy to you, your friends, or your family, a donation or even just sharing his work would be a great help.

They detailed the extensive and costly treatment Chilli requires, estimating over $11,900 annually for chemotherapy and immunosuppressants, with additional medications and tests potentially adding up to $39,000 per year.

On May 21st, the owners shared an update saying he was recovering nicely, but still requires close monitoring and careful management.

Okay, so there’s this pug, King Chilli, who’s totally blown up online! He’s got millions of followers because he’s just the cutest, and his owners post these hilarious videos of him. A lot of the time, he’s dressed up in the silliest outfits – I’ve seen him rocking a flower headband, it was amazing!
