Rever Games and Radical Theory are excited to announce that their game, Clockfall, will be available on Steam Early Access starting May 28, 2026. A new trailer showcasing the gameplay has just been released, giving players a detailed look at this unique game where time is a key resource.

A Crucial Dilemma: From Power-Ups to Buying Time

I’m so excited about Clockfall! It throws you right into this never-ending nightmare, and the only way out is to fight your way through really tough dungeons. You’ll be battling all sorts of scary enemies, and taking down huge bosses is key to finally breaking the time loop. It sounds intense!

Simply using force won’t be enough to succeed. Time is incredibly valuable, and it’s always slipping away. Players need to make the most of every action to explore the dungeon fully before time runs out, leading to difficult decisions just to stay alive.

  • Invest in their immediate build by upgrading combat stats, unlocking new weapons, or mastering powerful spells.
  • Sacrifice their current progress to literally “buy” themselves more time.

A Dual-Rhythm Gameplay: From Dungeon Crawling to Village Defense

Clockfall is built around a compelling cycle: explore dangerous dungeons, then use what you find to defend your village. The resources and improvements you earn while adventuring are crucial for preparing for increasingly difficult enemy attacks. It’s a constant loop of risk and reward, where dungeon crawling directly impacts your village’s survival.

Players who can defend against waves of enemies will unlock bigger and better permanent upgrades, helping them become more powerful with each attempt, learn the game’s cycle, and eventually break free from this terrifying situation.

Take control of time and escape the endless cycle. Available on Steam Early Access May 28th, and coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2027.
