News came as a surprise that the Peaky Blinders story will continue with a new TV series. Steven Knight, who created the original show, is heading up the project. Netflix and the BBC have commissioned two seasons that will focus on the next generation of the Birmingham family.

This new chapter of Peaky Blinders centers around a power struggle for control of Birmingham’s massive rebuilding efforts, leading to a fierce and violent competition.
Will there be a Peaky Blinders movie? When will it be released?
Regarding the Peaky Blinders movie that was initially planned to finish the story from the TV series: the film, known as The Immortal Man, was shot in 2024. There hasn’t been much news since then, but fans can rest assured – the project is still happening. The Peaky Blinders movie is scheduled for release in 2026 and will be available on Netflix. Currently, the filmmakers are working on finishing up the post-production process.
Peaky Blinders followers have reason to be happy! The upcoming TV series won’t stop the movie from happening. It’s still planned for release in 2026, and the story will continue beyond the series, introducing new characters and taking the action to post-war Birmingham.
