Fan-Favorite Marvel Character Set to Make MCU Return — Report

A fan-favorite MCU character will reportedly be returning in the near future.

I was so excited when the second season of Netflix’s Daredevil introduced us to Élodie Yung as Elektra Natchios! Seeing her make her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe through Daredevil Season 2 was fantastic. She was a really important character in The Defenders crossover event too, but it’s been a while since we’ve seen her, and I really hope she comes back!

When will the MCU’s Elektra reportedly return?

As reported by scooper Daniel Richtman, Elektra is set to reappear in the MCU with Daredevil: Born Again. It’s presently unknown whether she’ll appear in Season 2, which is scheduled to premiere next year, or in Season 3. This information is still developing.

While there’s talk of Yung being cast in Daredevil: Born Again, Marvel Studios hasn’t officially confirmed it yet. So, for now, this information should be considered a rumor.

With that in mind, it wouldn’t be too surprising if Elektra reappeared in Daredevil: Born Again. We already know Krysten Ritter, who played Jessica Jones in The Defenders, will be in the second season of the Marvel Television show. There are also plenty of rumors that Mike Coulter’s Luke Cage might make an appearance, but it’s still uncertain if that will happen.

Plot details for Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 remain under wraps at this time.

The show features a talented cast including Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter/Bullseye, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher.

Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again is planned to launch on Disney+ in March 2026. Good news for fans – the series has also been officially renewed for a third season, and filming is scheduled to start sometime next year.
