I’m so hyped for Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel on Prime Video! The new trailer looks amazing and it seems like they’re finally going to resolve all those cliffhangers from Season 1 – plus, more music! For those who don’t know, Hazbin Hotel is this incredible adult animated musical created by Vivienne Medrano. It’s about Charlie Morningstar (Erika Henningsen), who’s literally the princess of Hell, and she’s trying to run a hotel to *rehabilitate* demons and give them a chance to be good. It’s a wild concept! Of course, trying to do good attracts some enemies – both demons and angels who want to keep the fighting going, so it’s going to be a crazy season!
Prime Video has unveiled the newest trailer for Hazbin Hotel Season 2. This trailer gives fans the clearest look yet at what happens in the new season. It continues the story right after the end of Season 1, with Charlie trying to show the people of Hell that they can change and earn a place in Heaven. At the same time, both angels in Heaven and demons in Hell are planning to get back at each other, which could start a never-ending war and ruin Charlie’s hope of bringing peace to both worlds.
Hazbin Hotel Season 2 is coming to Amazon Prime Video on October 29, 2025, with the first two episodes. After that, two new episodes will be released each week until November 19. Watch the trailer below:
Does The Future of Hell Belong to the Vees?
The newest trailer for Hazbin Hotel Season 2 has unveiled some thrilling developments. Most notably, The Vees – a group of three powerful overlords, all with names starting with “V” – will have a much larger role, as they aim to take control of Hell. Vox (Christian Borle), the demon obsessed with television, appears to be the main villain this season, putting him at odds with both Charlie and Alastor (Amir Talai), the radio demon he clashed with in Season 1’s memorable song, “Stayed Gone.” The song “Finale” from Season 1 hinted that “the future of Hell belongs to the Vees,” and the trailer confirms this, showing Vox plotting a rebellion against Heaven itself.
A major mystery heading into the next season centers around Charlie’s mother, Lilith, who appeared briefly at the end of Hazbin Hotel Season 1. The show strongly suggests she’s connected to Alastor and what he’s trying to accomplish, specifically that he wants to break free from whatever obligations he has to her. Although they haven’t announced who will voice Lilith, Hazbin Hotel Season 2 will feature some exciting new voice actors, including musical stars like Liz Callaway, Alex Newell, and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, who will be voicing the character of Abel.
I was so thrilled to see how well Hazbin Hotel did on Prime Video! Since it premiered on Jan. 19, 2024, the music has been incredible – it even got nominated for Billboard Music Awards’ Best Soundtrack of 2024 and American Music Awards’ Favorite Soundtrack in 2025. I especially loved the song “Poison,” which climbed all the way to #14 on Billboard‘s US Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart! The fandom has grown so quickly, too – you can’t go to a comic convention now without seeing amazing cosplay of the characters from Hazbin Hotel. I’m really excited for Hazbin Hotel Season 2, and the trailer looks like it’s going to give us everything we loved from Season 1, while also exploring the characters even more deeply.
