The L.A. Rams squeak away with another close win as they take the lead in the NFC West.
The Rams’ defense performed strongly throughout the game, holding the 49ers to only one touchdown in the first half. Although the offense didn’t have a spectacular performance, Matthew Stafford successfully threw two touchdown passes. Ultimately, the Rams did just enough to secure the win. It was a hard-fought game.
San Francisco almost managed to turn things around in the fourth quarter, but they weren’t able to equalize the score. A field goal by Joshua Karty late in the game sealed the win for the opposing team, and the 49ers have now lost two games in a row.

While Carson Wentz didn’t have a great performance, he managed to do just enough to lead the Vikings to victory against a strong Browns’ defense.
Following a 0-0 first half, the Vikings scored their first points with a field goal. The game was then tied 3-3, but the defense gave up a 33-yard touchdown run to Quinshon Judkins, putting the Vikings behind again.
Minnesota quickly responded with a touchdown run by Jordan Mason, going 15 yards for the score. Then, with 9:43 remaining in the game, Joe Flacco guided the Browns down the field, but the drive ultimately resulted in only a field goal. Despite this, the Browns still held a 13-10 lead.
Carson Wentz, who had previously thrown two interceptions during the game, really stepped up during the final drive. The offense successfully converted three important third downs to maintain possession. One key play was an 18-yard pass from Wentz to Justin Jefferson.
Jordan Addison scored the winning touchdown. His four-yard reception with just over a minute remaining gave the Vikings a four-point lead. They were able to advance to the MIN 35 with two timeouts left. However, Flacco fumbled the ball after being sacked by Javon Hargrave.

The Colts avenge their first loss of the season with a convincing win over the Raiders.
Geno Smith and the Raiders’ offense managed to stay within striking distance in the first half. His 3-yard touchdown pass to Jakobi Meyers brought the score to 17-10. However, while Smith struggled, Daniel Jones played exceptionally well. He threw for two touchdowns and completed 22 out of 28 passes for 262 yards in the victory. Jonathan Taylor also contributed with 80 rushing yards and a touchdown.
As a Colts fan, I was so relieved to see us pull away from the Raiders! We really took control after scoring 10 points straight in the third quarter. Being up 27-10 felt amazing, and even though Las Vegas managed one more touchdown – a short 1-yard run by Ashton Jeanty – their kicker, Daniel Carlson, shockingly missed the extra point! That was huge for us. To put the game away for good, our guys added another field goal, and we got the win in Week 5. It was a great team effort, and I’m excited for what’s to come! Jaxson Dart earns his second career-win as the Giants just barely defeat the New Orleans Saints.
Dart’s performance in the win wasn’t outstanding (completing 16 of 27 passes for 173 yards), but he was the only Saints player to score a touchdown. When the Saints were trailing 6-0, Dart connected with Darius Slayton for a 16-yard touchdown pass. After the Saints added another field goal, the Giants drove down the field again. This time, Cam Skattebo ran for eight yards to increase their lead to 14-9.
However, that turned out to be the final time the Giants put points on the board. Skattebo lost possession while driving down the field in the fourth quarter, and the Saints recovered the fumble. Unfortunately, they could only manage another field goal drive after that.
Next, the Saints added another field goal, but they were still behind 14-12 with a little over five minutes remaining. They regained possession, but the offense couldn’t advance past their own 50-yard line. Giants fans should be grateful to Abdul Carter, who recorded his first solo sack, putting Spencer Rattler in a difficult 3rd & long situation.

The Dallas Cowboys prevent a disastrous comeback from the Jets in the final minutes of regulation.
Dallas got off to a fantastic start. They quickly built a 17-0 lead, with Dak Prescott connecting with George Pickens for two touchdowns. After Justin Fields found Garrett Wilson for a touchdown, the Cowboys answered right back with another scoring drive.
Man, the Cowboys really pulled ahead with a field goal drive in the third, making it 27-7. But Fields quickly answered back with a beautiful 32-yard touchdown pass to Mason Taylor, bringing us back within striking distance. Then, in the fourth, Fields found Allen Lazard for an eight-yard touchdown! It was a great drive and kept things interesting.
The Cowboys increased their advantage with another field goal, and they almost scored a touchdown to put the game away. However, they were stopped just three yards from reaching the goal line.
Trailing by 9 points with just 7 minutes left in the game, Fields guided the Jets down the field and scored his fourth touchdown of the day-an 11-yard run right into the end zone.
Dallas regained possession of the ball with a little more than four minutes left in the game. The offense then started to perform better, gaining enough yardage for several first downs, and effectively used the clock to finish the game.

The Eagles remain undefeated as they overcome the Broncos in the second half.
The game started competitively, but Denver was able to stay ahead throughout the first half. They got on the board first with a nine-yard touchdown run by J.K. Dobbins, taking a 10-0 lead. However, the Eagles quickly answered with a 25-yard touchdown catch by A.J. Brown. After that, both teams exchanged field goals before the halftime break.
Denver increased their advantage with a field goal in the third quarter, bringing the score to 16-10. Then, Saquon Barkley gave the Eagles their first lead of the game with a 47-yard touchdown run. But the Broncos quickly responded, regaining the lead with another field goal to make it 19-17.
The Eagles gained the lead in the fourth quarter. Jalen Hurts threw a touchdown pass to Dallas Goedert, bringing the score to 24-19. Following an interception by Quinyon Mitchell from Bo Nix, the Eagles used up another five minutes before adding a field goal.
The Broncos had a chance to tie the score. They successfully moved the ball downfield to the PHI 20-yard line. However, Nix threw another interception (this time to Zack Baun) with just two minutes left on the clock. The Eagles then ran out the remaining time, securing the win. It was a tough loss for Denver and a solid performance by the Eagles defense.

The Dolphins manage to win their second game in a row as they hold off the Panthers in Carolina.
The Miami Dolphins’ offense performed well even without their star receiver, Tyreek Hill. Tua Tagovailoa had a strong game, completing passes for two touchdowns without any interceptions, contributing to the team’s victory. Running back De’Von Achane also made a significant play, scoring a 22-yard touchdown in the second quarter, which gave the Dolphins a 14-7 lead going into halftime.
Chuba Hubbard found the end zone twice during the second and third quarters, but a touchdown catch by Jaylen Waddle kept the Dolphins in the lead. Miami increased their advantage early in the fourth quarter with a field goal (FG).
Bryce Young had a difficult game against the Dolphin’s defense, with two interceptions contributing to the loss. He did connect for a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap. The team trailed by 3 points and ultimately couldn’t recover from that deficit.

The Houston Texans secured their second consecutive win by defeating the Ravens, who were quarterbacked by Cooper Rush.
Rush started strong, leading the team on a successful first drive. He completed four passes for 49 yards, and Derrick Henry finished it off with a 14-yard touchdown run. Unfortunately, that proved to be the only time a Ravens player scored. It was a quiet game for the Ravens’ offense after that.
The Texans’ offense didn’t shine against the league’s weakest defense in terms of points given up. But, they performed well enough to prevent the Ravens from catching up, consistently holding a comfortable two-possession lead throughout most of the game.
C.J. Stroud was responsible for both of the Texans’ touchdowns, one of which was a 34-yard pass to Nico Collins. Nick Chubb also gained 86 yards on the ground with 20 rushing attempts, and the experienced running back successfully moved the chains five times throughout the game.

The Arizona Cardinals bounced back from two straight losses with a decisive victory against the Tennessee Titans. Despite a late attempt at a comeback led by Cam Ward, the Cardinals quickly extinguished any chance of the Titans winning.
The Cardinals had a fantastic start, leading the Titans 23-0 after the first three quarters. However, a potential problem was their frequent need to settle for field goals. They only managed to score two touchdowns in total, one of which was a fifteen-yard touchdown catch by Greg Dortch.
In the last 10 minutes of the game, Cam Ward and the Titans’ offense started to perform well. He completed a 1-yard touchdown pass to Van Jefferson during one drive, and later connected with Elic Ayomanor for an eight-yard touchdown pass. Additionally, Tony Pollard successfully ran for two yards to earn a two-point conversion. This offensive surge helped the Titans gain momentum.
Leading by only 23-15, the Cardinals put together a final field goal drive. They scored with just 1:10 remaining on the clock. The Titans, with no timeouts left, were unable to mount a comeback.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold off the Seattle Seahawks as they win their fourth game of the season.
Both teams showed strong play, and Seattle ended the first quarter with a slight advantage. However, Tampa Bay dominated the second quarter, highlighted by a 36-yard touchdown run by Bucky Irving. Seattle responded with a field goal just before halftime, bringing the score within 1 point.
During the third quarter, the Seahawks regained the lead when Kenneth Walker III ran for a 25-yard touchdown. However, they couldn’t score again in the red zone, finishing the game with only 20 points. On the other side, Baker Mayfield led his team to one last lead by throwing a touchdown pass to Chris Godwin Jr.

Detroit quickly jumped to a 21-7 advantage in the first half. Both Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery ran the ball into the end zone for touchdowns. Quarterback Jared Goff also connected with Amon-Ra St. Brown for a touchdown pass.
During the final two minutes of the game, Jake Browning and the Bengals managed to score. He threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase, which helped lessen the impact of their struggles. However, immediately following the attempted two-point conversion, Jacob Saylors returned the kickoff an impressive 90 yards for a touchdown, increasing their lead to 28-7.
During the second half, the Lions’ offense became less dynamic, but they continued to move the ball. They added another 10 points to their total, highlighted by another touchdown run from Gibbs. Later, Jake Bates successfully kicked a 35-yard field goal midway through the fourth quarter.
Cincinnati added two more touchdowns late in the game when the outcome was already decided. Although Jake Browning technically completed three touchdown passes during the loss, he continued to have difficulty leading the Bengals to a win while Joe Burrow is out.

Jayden Daniels’ comeback after being injured wasn’t particularly successful; he faced difficulties against a tough Chargers defense.
The Chargers’ offense showed a little improvement compared to their previous game against the Giants. Justin Herbert connected with Quentin Johnston for a touchdown on the first drive. However, they couldn’t reach the end zone on their next two opportunities inside the red zone, and had to kick field goals instead. Despite this, the defense limited the Commanders to only 3 points during the first half. It was a solid performance overall.
Things really started to turn around for Washington in the second half when Chris Rodriguez ran it in for a 12-yard touchdown. But L.A. quickly answered with another field goal, bringing the score to 16-10. We got back in the game in the fourth with a field goal of our own, making it 16-13. Unfortunately, the Chargers pretty much sealed the deal with a 27-yard touchdown run by Omarion Hampton, putting them up 23-13 and ending our chances.

The Buffalo Bills won against the Patriots convincingly, continuing their undefeated streak. They built a significant lead with a powerful 24-point first half, allowing them to overcome their divisional rival.
The Patriots’ offense wasn’t performing poorly, but the Bills had a more powerful attack, putting up 34 points in the first three quarters. Even though they didn’t score in the last fifteen minutes, the Bills still managed to limit the Patriots to only 14 points in the second half.
Josh Allen and James Cook are consistently dominating opposing defenses. Allen is quickly becoming the frontrunner for the MVP award, particularly after his impressive performance with three touchdowns in the victory. A key highlight was his 50-yard touchdown pass to Keon Coleman. Cook added to the score with a 13-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter, extending the lead to 31-10.
Kansas City Chiefs at Jacksonville Jaguars – NFL Week 5 Results according to Madden 26

The Jacksonville Jaguars almost defeated the Chiefs, but couldn’t stop their offense during the last two minutes of the game. They were so close to winning, but the Chiefs ultimately prevailed.
Kansas City jumped ahead 10-7 after Travis Kelce scored a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes. However, Jacksonville then scored three consecutive field goals during the second quarter. Mahomes threw an interception to Andrew Wingard, who returned it to the Kansas City 35-yard line with 0:51 remaining. The Jaguars managed only a field goal from that possession, but it increased their lead.
Kansas City regained the lead after Kelce scored another touchdown, putting them ahead 17-16. Travis Etienne quickly responded with a 14-yard touchdown run for the Jaguars, though the two-point conversion attempt failed. Despite this, Jacksonville was now leading 22-17.
Kansas City followed up by scoring two more touchdowns, effectively ending any chance the Jaguars had of winning. Mahomes threw a touchdown pass to Hollywood Brown, and Kareem Hunt added another score with under two minutes remaining in the game.
Trevor Lawrence did manage to score again with a touchdown pass to Hunter Long, but it came with only 19 seconds remaining. Additionally, the Chiefs recovered the onside kick, effectively ending the game.
