D4vd arrested 7 months after body of 15-year-old girl found in Tesla

Singer D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, has been arrested in connection with the death of 15-year-old Celese Rivas Hernandez. Her body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla in September 2025.

Twenty-one-year-old Burke is being held in jail without the possibility of bail, as ABC News was the first to report. Police arrested the singer after finding evidence that suggests a crime was committed.

Police in Los Angeles plan to share their findings with the District Attorney’s Office on Monday, the report states.

Seven months after the body of Hernandez was found badly decomposed in the front trunk of an abandoned Tesla, an arrest has been made. The car had been impounded after being discovered.

Authorities were alerted to a car in an LA impound lot because it smelled strongly of decay. The vehicle had been abandoned on a Hollywood street and left in the lot for two days, according to investigators.

This Tesla belongs to Burke, a singer based in Los Angeles who gained popularity on TikTok and has a large social media following.

D4vd was identified as a person of interest in this case back in November 2025, but wasn’t arrested until now.

Investigators stated that Hernandez’s body had been cut into pieces, and it probably took multiple people to get rid of it.

D4vd was on tour when a body was found, causing him to immediately cancel the rest of his shows in North America and all planned concerts in Europe.

Several well-known influencers, like Pokimane, had previously streamed with D4vd, but they’ve publicly stated they were surprised to learn about the recent news.
