Laps Games has launched Valorborn on Steam as an Early Access game for PC. Players can start experiencing this sandbox RPG now, though it’s expected to remain in development for about a year. The developers plan to release significant updates every 3-4 months.

Why Early Access?
“Our game features a fully expandable open world. We aim to continually expand this world and enrich the game universe. Our goal is to create new stories to experience and new adventures to tell within the game. We would like to work closely with the community throughout this process.
We plan to release major updates every 3–4 months, expanding the game’s map and universe, keeping the experience fresh, and continuously adding new content.”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We plan to remain in Early Access for at least one year. Throughout this period, we aim to work closely with the community, discussing and shaping the game’s development together. We do not intend to leave Early Access until we believe the game is fully ready.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“Throughout Early Access, we plan to expand the game with new features, expand the map, side stories, new characters, and environments. Our goal is to continuously develop and enrich the game world.”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“At its current stage, our game includes nearly all of the core mechanics. Survival, camp building, crafting, stealth, combat, trading, and more are already implemented. The game world also features a variety of cities, areas to explore, points of interest, and creatures.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“The price will increase upon the full release of the game.”
