It looks like J. Jonah Jameson might have been right about Spider-Man all along. The hero was recently caught breaking into a store and stealing $65,000.
It’s not unusual for robbers to disguise themselves – think of the classic black ski mask – but one thief recently took a unique approach: they decided to dress up as Spider-Man.
Early on the morning of March 23rd, around 2:25 AM, someone wearing a Spider-Man mask burglarized a cigar shop in Leduc, Alberta, and made off with tens of thousands of dollars and other merchandise.
The way they broke in was exactly as you’d expect Spider-Man to do so.

Police say the thief broke into the store by climbing through the ceiling after entering from a neighboring business.
He climbed through the ceiling, stole money and other items, and then escaped out the back door. Police report that the security camera wires had been cut beforehand.
Okay, so the guy trying to pull off a heist wasn’t a perfect Spider-Man. He had the mask, sure, but he was also rocking bright yellow gloves and a yellow jacket! Honestly, it made me wonder what alternate reality this Spider-Man was from – it definitely wasn’t the one I know!
Anyone with info is urged to contact the authorities.
This isn’t the first Spider-Man-related incident to involve Canadian police. Back in 2009, a man wearing a Spider-Man mask robbed a bank near Halifax, which is located on the opposite side of the country.
Recently in the US, a man dressed as a Marvel superhero was arrested for stealing $10,000 worth of Pokémon and other collectible trading cards.
