Reef Entertainment has announced another delay for Terminator 2D: No Fate-this time because of tariffs.
The developer announced that the game’s release date is being moved from October 31st to November 26th. This delay is a result of “ongoing global trade and tariff changes that delayed shipment of the components” needed for the physical copies of the game.
The developer explained that, due to their commitment to releasing all versions simultaneously, this new date now applies to both the physical and digital releases globally. They added, “We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding, and we apologize for this additional delay.”
Problems with US President Donald Trump’s debated tariffs have caused delays and higher prices for many products, and video games are no exception. Microsoft, for instance, recently announced another price increase for the Xbox, and the PS5 has also become more expensive recently.
Terminator 2D: No Fate puts you in the role of Sarah Connor as you attempt to prevent Skynet and its machines from destroying humanity. You’ll also get to play as the adult John Connor in stages set during the future war against Skynet.
Okay, so I’m super excited to share that Terminator 2D: No Fate is finally coming to a bunch of platforms on November 26th! I’ll be able to play it on my Switch, and it’s also hitting Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Seriously, so many options! I can’t wait to jump in.
Earlier this year, two physical copies of Terminator 2D: No Fate were revealed. A standard version is available for $60, and a collector’s edition costs $120. The collector’s edition includes a reversible cover, a cloth poster, a 25mm metal coin with the game’s logo, a full-color instruction manual, and a special collector’s box.
