Star Wars: Genesis Is Transforming Starfield
Bethesda’s 2023 release, Starfield, was a sci-fi action role-playing game designed to appeal to fans of Star Wars. While the game received a mixed response due to its average quality, Star Wars fans are now transforming it. Using modifications, they’re turning Starfield – created by the makers of Skyrim – into a remarkably immersive Star Wars experience.
Though not a completely new game developed by a large studio, Star Wars Genesis feels like one. This massive modpack, led by Deity Vengy, is completely overhauling Starfield, breathing life and detail into what many felt was a bland and empty original game.
Built with the technology behind Starfield, the game will let players explore iconic planets from the Star Wars universe. Expect to visit well-known locations like Tatooine, Geonosis, Mandalore, Tython, and Coruscant, among many others.
Beyond being a game where you can experience the Star Wars universe, Star Wars Genesis features a unique story with original characters, plenty of new side quests, and the ability to have full conversations with members of all different groups.
Despite some challenges with other Star Wars products, the franchise is doing very well in the gaming world. Several exciting titles are in development, including a remake of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, a new sequel to that game, and Star Wars Eclipse. All of these games are expected to be major hits when they are released.
Star Wars fans have a lot to look forward to with the new releases coming out, but one project is generating particular excitement. Called Star Wars Genesis, it’s a fan-made modpack that’s finally delivering what fans have wished for years, and it’s also revitalizing a game that many were previously disappointed with.
