Okay, so as a huge fan of Fruit Love Island, I was seriously panicking when I saw the creator’s YouTube channel was gone and a bunch of TikToks vanished! Everyone’s been asking if the show is cancelled, but thankfully, it hasn’t been! It’s still happening, which is such a relief.
Okay, so this crazy AI thing blew up on TikTok in March. Basically, someone turned the drama from Love Island into this hilarious dating show, but all the contestants were… fruit! It’s called Fruit Love Island, and the account, Ai Cinema, gained over 3.3 million followers in just ten days. They’ve already made more than 21 episodes and the videos have gotten over 200 million views combined – it’s totally wild!
Even before YouTube removed the videos, the series was facing difficulties. The creator told Wired that nine of their videos were taken down due to violations of YouTube’s community guidelines, and they suspect someone was intentionally reporting their account repeatedly.
I’m honestly so shocked! My favorite TikTok account, the one that brilliantly edits Love Island clips with fruit – you HAVE to check them out if you don’t know it – has had almost all of their videos taken down. Seriously, they had millions of views on some of those, and now they’re just…gone. They posted a rant explaining everything, and it’s just so frustrating to see a creative account get hit like that.

Fruit Love Island is not dead yet
Things have gotten worse again. The show’s creator responded to the video removals with a long post, angrily criticizing people who dislike AI, asking fans for support, and claiming they were losing both videos and viewers. They also stated in another post that their YouTube channel had been deleted, but clarified that episode 21 was still available.
Okay, so Fruit Love Island isn’t cancelled, but it’s kinda tricky to watch right now. Some episodes have been taken down on TikTok, and the creator’s YouTube channel is also having issues. If you’re looking for new episodes or updates, it looks like you have to go to @ai.cinema021 now – they’re the only place posting them at the moment.
It’s still unclear why the YouTube content was removed. While people online have guessed it was due to platform rules or copyright issues, YouTube hasn’t confirmed the reason. This comes after YouTube already started taking action against channels that heavily rely on AI this year, removing some for creating spammy or low-quality content.
Despite some setbacks like videos being removed from TikTok and its YouTube channel disappearing, the popular AI series ‘Fruit Love Island’ hasn’t been canceled – though it’s currently facing its biggest challenges.
