During every Major League Baseball regular season game, Mountain Dew Baja Blast is giving away free drinks to fans whenever a player hits a home run – but each fan can only redeem the offer five times total.
I’m so excited! My favorite soda brand is doing this awesome thing called ‘Get a Baja for a Blast’ for the 2026 baseball season. Basically, every time someone really knocks it out of the park – a huge hit – they’re giving away stuff to fans all over the country! And the best part? It’s starting right on Opening Day, so we can start earning rewards immediately. I can’t wait!
Fans can get a free Baja Blast whenever a player hits a home run of 420 feet or more during a regular MLB game. This promotion is happening across the entire US and is based on a single statistic: home run distance.

How to get a free Baja Blast during MLB games
To participate, fans simply need to register on the website and save the Mountain Dew Baja Blast pass to their digital wallet. Each 420-foot home run hit during a game then earns a registered fan a free drink, available to claim the next day. Throughout the season, fans can get up to five free Baja Blasts this way.
Fans can follow along with every potential home run in real time on MLB.com’s live leaderboard, which shows which hits count towards the competition.
To go with the contest, Mountain Dew Baja Blast and Rawlings have collaborated on a special, limited-edition baseball glove.

This limited-edition glove comes in Baja Blast’s iconic teal and gold colors and is crafted with high-quality Rawlings Heart of the Hide leather. It will be available for purchase on the Rawlings website starting March 2, 2026, for $399.99.
According to Mountain Dew’s VP of Marketing, Michael Smith, baseball is all about exciting plays, and Mountain Dew Baja Blast aims to provide equally exciting drinks to enjoy them with.
So, Mountain Dew and MLB are doing a cool thing all through the 2026 baseball season! They’re promising extra stuff and updates, and you can find it all on their social media pages – definitely gonna be checking those out!
In early March, Taco Bell announced two new products inspired by Baja Blast: a Midnight-flavored pie and energy-boosting eye patches with caffeine.
