Xbox Game Pass members have a lot to look forward to on March 31st, particularly fans of scary survival horror games! Microsoft recently announced the latest free games coming to Xbox Game Pass through Xbox Wire, and this month’s selection includes some truly fantastic titles you won’t want to miss.
Games previously available only to Ultimate subscribers, like South of Midnight and The Alters, are now included with the standard Game Pass Premium tier, opening them up to more players. Plus, the critically acclaimed RPG Disco Elysium (originally released in 2019) is coming to Xbox Game Pass. While there are many exciting additions, one game in particular will be a fantastic way to end March.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Joins Xbox Game Pass In March
The Game Is Available For Consoles, PC, & Cloud
A popular and highly-rated survival horror game, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on March 31st, just before the new April games are added.
The game will be available to Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscribers – essentially, anyone who doesn’t have the basic Essential tier can play it if they choose. Through the subscription service, you’ll be able to play this survival horror game from Capcom on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and through cloud gaming.
Now that this scary game is available on Xbox Game Pass in late March, it will probably stay there for about a year, like most games added to the service. But if you enjoy horror games, it’s best to play Resident Evil 7: Biohazard sooner rather than later – don’t let it sit on your list for too long!
Biohazard Is One Of The Scariest Resident Evil Games
This Resident Evil Game Is In First-Person
Okay, so if you’re into seriously scary games, you need to play Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. It’s honestly one of the best in the whole series. What really sets it apart is that it’s the first main Resident Evil game played from my point of view – first-person! It drops you right into this creepy, rundown house in the middle of nowhere, and let me tell you, the people living there are way more terrifying up close. You’ll be exploring every corner of that house, trying to survive some truly intense encounters that will definitely give you the shivers.
When Resident Evil 7 was released, many players felt it solved a long-standing issue with the series: its villains. The Baker family felt truly impactful throughout the game, unlike antagonists in previous installments. A lot of the game’s horror comes from experiencing it all in first-person, especially when facing these villains.
Xbox Game Pass already has a great selection of horror games, including several Dead Space titles. But starting March 31st, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard might be the best one yet! If you’re a Game Pass subscriber and love horror games, you won’t want to miss it.
