Even though Season 3, Part 1 of the anime just began airing this winter, the next episode, “Sendai Colony,” will actually be the halfway point. The recent five episodes have followed Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro as they participate in the Culling Game within the Tokyo Colony.
The next episode, before the show takes a break, will focus on a new location and introduce the Queen of Curses in the Sendai Colony. Viewers will see Yuta face off against a surprising team of sorcerers in an intense battle. Having already witnessed Yuta’s power against Yuji, fans will now see just how much stronger he’s become since the events of the Night Parade of 100 Demons.
Jujutsu Kaisen‘s Megumi Fushiguro Crushes Reggie Star, Literally
Watching Megumi Fushiguro fight Reggie Star really highlighted something I always suspected about him, but it was amazing to see it play out! He’s a total master of making people underestimate him, and Reggie totally fell for it. Reggie even admitted that, for someone so young, Megumi was a way tougher opponent than he initially thought. It’s like he deliberately lets people think he’s weaker than he is, and then BAM! He hits you with everything he’s got.
Megumi is skillfully using the gym to his advantage, putting Reggie in a difficult position. Even after Reggie understands the immense pressure Megumi and Chimera Shadow Garden are exerting, his overconfidence gets the better of him. While it’s clear Reggie is being pushed to his breaking point, Megumi has no intention of giving up or being defeated.
This fight is captivating because of Reggie’s huge ego. Even though Megumi is clearly outperforming him, Reggie always has a plan B, which just makes him overconfident. The more confident he becomes, the more likely he is to make a fatal mistake. Reggie is so convinced of his victory that he becomes careless, ultimately putting himself in danger.
Reggie’s biggest mistake was underestimating his opponent, Demon Dog. He fought believing Demon Dog was exhausted, but Megumi was actually saving his strength. Even while fatally wounded, Reggie continued to taunt Megumi from the edge of the pool as he lost blood.
Fushiguro’s Distrust for Tengen Comes to the Surface
Megumi starts to suspect something is wrong before Reggie’s death. He questions Reggie about Tengen, noticing inconsistencies between what Reggie said about Kenjaku’s plans and what Tengen had told them. This leads Megumi to believe Tengen might be manipulating everyone.
Reggie’s connection to Tengen might offer some answers, so when Reggie calls Tengen a “shut-in,” Megumi starts to see things differently. It makes him realize he needs to be careful and consider that Tengen might have been deceiving them, possibly even working with Kenjaku. However, Reggie’s reaction suggests that’s probably not the case. Even so, Megumi remains cautious, knowing there are still many unknowns.
As he was dying, Reggie contacted Kogane and told him to give his points to Megumi. When Megumi questioned why, Reggie’s explanation didn’t make much sense. He claimed it was a final act of kindness, but then confessed he just wanted to see what would happen. He didn’t really care about Kenjaku, and figured this would be a fitting, if foolish, end for himself.
The Angel Appears In JJK Episode 58
After Reggie’s death, the story reveals what Takaba has been doing while fighting Hazenoki. His strange behavior is clearly frustrating Hazenoki. When Kogane tells Hazenoki that Reggie Star is dead, he decides he’s finished with the conflict and wants to go home. He then makes one final, ridiculous request: that Takaba hand over his points.
Remi is running from Megumi, and while she’s escaping, she explains her belief that men are like wolves – she needs their strength and protection because she feels helpless. She admits her only real asset is her appearance. As she flees, she trips and runs right into Demon Dog, with Megumi closing in behind her. He draws his sword, ready to finish her off, but then he hears his sister’s voice, stopping him.
As Megumi fell unconscious, a bright golden light enveloped him. The Angel Tengen, who they’d been hearing about, appeared above him, smiling warmly. It seems releasing Gojo Satoru won’t happen until later in Season 2, specifically after the first cour.
When & Where to Watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, Episode 12
There’s still no official release date for the second part of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3. The series has already shown a lot of intense action, and things are expected to get even more dramatic.
The first part of the final season of Jujutsu Kaisen, episode “Sendai Colony”, will premiere on Crunchyroll on March 26, 2026, at 12:30 PM Eastern Time / 9:30 AM Pacific Time.
