Is Spider-Man: Brand New Day Hiding Any Huge Cameos?

I was really hoping to see Charlie Cox as Daredevil team up with Spider-Man in the new movie, but it looks like that’s not happening. It’s disappointing to hear he won’t be in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, especially since Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is still coming out soon.

Daredevil would be a great addition to the next Spider-Man movie, particularly after his appearance as Peter Parker’s lawyer in No Way Home. However, even though the villainous group, the Hand, is expected to return in Season 3 of Born Again, a team-up between Daredevil and Spider-Man doesn’t seem likely to happen anytime soon.

According to insider Daniel Richtman, Florence Pugh, who plays Yelena Belova, is likely to appear in Spider-Man 4 alongside Spider-Man to fight the Hand. However, the specifics of her character’s involvement are currently unknown.

There’s a chance the recent face-off in Brand New Day doesn’t feature any surprise guest appearances, and the way some of the ninja characters are placed seems a bit strange. However, if there is a hidden ally for Spider-Man, the most likely candidates would be Jon Bernthal as the Punisher or Sadie Sink’s unknown character.

In the trailer, The Hand shows up again, battling Spider-Man inside a prison – likely the one where a breakout is planned using Damage Control agents who are being mind-controlled. Rumors suggest that both Sink and Bernthal are involved in this fight scene, but it makes more sense for one of them to be cut, as the studio seems to be deliberately keeping Sink’s role limited for now.

Sony and Marvel are definitely holding back a lot of surprises for the new Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie, and we won’t find out what they are until July 31st. However, don’t expect any huge, unexpected cameos like the appearances of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
