Why did Piers Morgan walk off HSTikkyTokky interview? Wife pic controversy explained

After Louis Theroux’s documentary about the ‘manosphere’ aired, Piers Morgan agreed to an interview with HSTikkyTokky. However, the conversation quickly became heated, and Morgan abruptly ended the interview by walking off set.

Harrison Sullivan, known online as HSTikkyTokky, is a subject in Louis Theroux’s new Netflix documentary. The film reveals how influencers in the ‘manosphere’ attract large followings by sharing controversial, often sexist, content, and then profit from it through online courses and other ventures.

This tactic is clear in their last interview, where Sullivan kept asking Theroux about sensitive subjects like Jimmy Savile and the conflict between Israel and Palestine. He wasn’t trying to have a real conversation, but rather to generate short, attention-grabbing clips for his social media.

This week, Morgan and HSTikkyTokky discussed the documentary and the manosphere movement in an interview for their online platforms.

Why did Piers Morgan walk off HSTikkyTokky interview?

Okay, so you won’t BELIEVE what happened! Piers Morgan was interviewing this TikTok star, HSTikkyTokky, and it was going okay until HSTikkyTokky dropped a bomb. He showed Piers an old Instagram post from Piers’ wife, Celia Walden! It was a picture of her relaxing by a pool, and the caption was…well, it said she was looking for a pool boy, and that no experience was necessary! Piers was so shocked and upset, he just walked right off the set! It was crazy.

The post wasn’t the only thing that made Morgan end the conversation; it was just the last in a series of escalating arguments.

The interview aired on Sullivan’s Kick channel and included branding from Morgan’s Uncensored, his online talk show famous for lively and often controversial discussions. However, it hasn’t been posted to Morgan’s own channels yet.

Once they worked out some technical difficulties, their conversation began peacefully, with Morgan questioning Sullivan’s involvement in the documentary Inside the Manosphere. Sullivan described it as an enjoyable experience, and admitted he’s been getting a kick out of the negative reactions, using them as an opportunity to provoke people in his direct messages.

Morgan expressed his only worry about Sullivan was the impact he might have on young fans, questioning what Sullivan hoped to achieve in life. Sullivan reiterated that his priorities were simply to earn money, stay healthy, and enjoy his success with his family.

The show’s host then discussed some issues brought up in the documentary, particularly the contradictions in HSTikkyTokky’s behavior. For example, he promotes content creators on OnlyFans but has said he would reject his own daughter if she were to become an OnlyFans creator as an adult.

He said he doesn’t have an issue with people doing what they want, like those who create content on OnlyFans, or with anyone’s sexual orientation. However, he would step in and set boundaries if those choices involved his own family, where he feels he has a say in the matter.

Morgan persistently questioned Sullivan about his divisive opinions, particularly his statement that he’d disown a gay child. When asked if this was homophobic, Sullivan firmly defended his position, arguing it was simply a matter of strong parenting.

As the argument continued, Morgan asked Sullivan how he could hold those beliefs and still live his life the way he does.

Sullivan consistently avoided answering Morgan’s questions, interrupting and changing the subject whenever challenged. This tactic, common in his previous appearances (as seen in ‘Inside the Manosphere’), created a frustrating back-and-forth where Sullivan dominated the conversation and steered clear of difficult topics.

Morgan jokingly admitted defeat to HSTikkyTokky, telling his audience, “HSTikkyTokky has completely beaten me.” He then grouped Sullivan with other controversial figures like Andrew Tate and Myron Gaines, suggesting they all employ similar tactics.

The accusation clearly upset Morgan, as Sullivan changed his approach by claiming Morgan had visited Jeffrey Epstein’s private island. Morgan immediately denied this, saying, “I never went to Epstein’s island, and I never even met the man. I did briefly meet Ghislaine Maxwell once at a book event.”

Morgan then invited Sullivan and his viewers to check the facts for themselves, pointing out that the Epstein files are available for anyone to search. However, Sullivan kept interrupting, not allowing Morgan to complete his answers.

Morgan grew increasingly frustrated and snapped, “You’re just being a distraction, and you’re making yourself look even worse than you did on the Netflix show.”

Sullivan then attacks Morgan’s wife, Celia Walden, a journalist and novelist, by referencing a past Instagram post and implying she was unfaithful.

Morgan responds angrily, saying, “I think you’re a complete fool. You’re prejudiced against women and people in the LGBTQ+ community, and Netflix and Louis Theroux revealed your true character to the world.”

He suddenly stopped the interview, telling the crew it was a waste of time before leaving the set.

Who is Piers Morgan’s wife?

Piers Morgan’s wife, Celia Walden, is a journalist and author who became part of the controversy when HSTikkyTokky brought up a 2022 Instagram post. This was an attempt to upset Morgan during their escalating argument.

Felicity Walden, age 50, is a British writer who regularly contributes columns and novels. She’s written for major publications like The Telegraph and Daily Mail, and is the author of books such as the thriller Payday. Walden is known for her direct and sometimes controversial opinions.

Similar to her husband, Walden has sometimes caused debate with her writing, covering subjects like relationships, raising children, social media, and current events.

I’ve always been fascinated by Celia Walden! She’s a journalist, but a lot of people know her as Piers Morgan’s wife – they got married back in 2010 and have a child together. It’s interesting to learn that her dad was actually a Conservative politician, George Walden. It’s cool seeing where people come from, you know?

A few years ago, speculation arose that Walden and Morgan were in an open relationship after she mentioned taking a six-week break from her husband and marriage. However, neither Walden nor Morgan has ever confirmed these rumors.

The Instagram post that HSTikkyTokky brought to our attention is a pretty standard one from 2022. It shows Walden relaxing by a pool with a sign saying, “Wanted: Pool Boy – No Experience Needed,” and the caption, “Applications now open.”

How to watch Piers Morgan & HSTikkyTokky interview

Morgan hasn’t posted the interview videos to his Uncensored YouTube channel yet. Currently, the only places to watch them are on HSTikkyTokky’s Kick and YouTube channels.

It’s unclear if Morgan will release the footage this week or simply dismiss it as unimportant. If you don’t follow HSTikkyTokky’s accounts, your only option for seeing it is through clips posted online.
