Dragon Quest Smash/Grow pre-registrations are now live on iOS and Android

Square Enix is now accepting pre-registrations for Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, a new mobile RPG in the Dragon Quest series. The game, which is a roguelite, will be available on both iOS and Android devices later this year.

A new trailer is available for Dragon Quest Smash/Grow, and you can now pre-order the game on the App Store (iOS) or pre-register on Google Play (Android). Although the official release date hasn’t been announced, the App Store listing currently shows a possible release date of July 31st.

Dragon Quest Smash/Grow is in development for a 2026 release on iOS and Android.

Square Enix has started letting players sign up early for its new mobile game, Dragon Quest Smash/Grow. It’s a roguelite RPG, meaning it offers replayable adventures with changing elements. If you pre-register on the App Store or Google Play, you’ll get 10 free in-game items at launch that let you try out the game’s character-collecting feature.

To start accepting pre-registrations, the team launched a new promotional video for the latest version of the game. The video features narration by Toshio Furukawa, a renowned voice actor who also brings to life Roly, the hero’s helpful robotic companion.

From what I’ve seen, this game looks awesome. You basically smash through tons of monsters and then finish them off with those epic Dragon Quest special attacks! The cool part is, your character grows randomly with blessings, so you have to constantly adjust your strategy. Every playthrough is going to be different, which sounds amazing. I can’t wait to jump in!
