A Pokemon-themed island created in a game by 100 players was destroyed by a single player with malicious intent, but the community is now rallying to rebuild it.
A player in Pokemon Pokopia spent a lot of time and effort creating a beautiful island, and was devastated to find it destroyed after opening it up for others to visit.
Players familiar with games like Minecraft or Ark Survival Evolved might expect this kind of behavior, but it’s still incredibly annoying. People who intentionally disrupt the game for others always seem to find a way to do so, no matter what you’re playing.
After the island was destroyed, a player posted the building code on X, asking for help from others to restore it.
Public island in Pokopia gets completely ruined
One player reported on March 18, 2026, that after we made an island available for players to build on together, someone came in and destroyed everything.
This was a massive undertaking, built with the help of about 100 players, and it’s heartbreaking that all their work was ultimately destroyed.
Thankfully, they were able to get it under control before the situation worsened, and they shared photos showing the island’s condition before and after.
We created a shared island where players could build together, and unfortunately, someone came along and destroyed everything. It’s disappointing to see the work of about 100 people ruined, but we did manage to record a video of it beforehand. If you’d like to help rebuild, here’s the island code and address: Code: LRC9VX, Address: 2HN0C2PF.

These images show what the island used to look like before it fell into disrepair. Originally, it was a charming place with tidy homes, farms, and walkways, reminiscent of the game Animal Crossing.
Much of the intricate detail has faded, making the area appear flat and empty. It’s a particularly disheartening view for those familiar with the effort it takes to progress in Pokopia.
For those who want to help salvage it, the player has shared the island codes below.
Link Code: LRC9VX
Address: 2HN0C2PF
The post has been getting a lot of attention online, and many people have been commenting to offer their support.
One person offered to help if the item was still available after their workday. Another user mentioned the game has a backup system that could restore parts of the island, but the original poster explained they hadn’t started using it until after the damage occurred.
