Evernight is the first 5-star version of March 7th in Honkai: Star Rail, and like the Amphoreus characters, she’s a Remembrance Path unit. What makes her unique is that she doesn’t just depend on her own abilities – she works best with other Remembrance characters on your team. Here are some example team compositions for Evernight in Honkai: Star Rail.
Evernight Team Comp In HSR – Honkai: Star Rail
Evernight boosts the critical damage of all your team’s memosprites by 5%, 15%, 50%, or 65% depending on how many characters with the ‘Remembrance’ trait are on your team (1, 2, 3, or 4+). To get the most out of Evernight in Honkai: Star Rail, it’s best to have a team with at least three Remembrance characters. While a fourth Remembrance character provides a small additional boost, it’s often better to use other characters who can provide stronger buffs instead.
Okay, so the damage boost from running three Remembrance characters instead of just two isn’t *huge*, but Evernight really needs those extra memosprites to charge her Energy and build up her Memoria. That’s why everyone’s saying three Remembrance units is the way to go right now – it just helps her get going!
As a fan, I’m really excited about Evernight, but it seems like she’ll *need* other Remembrance units to really shine. That means we’ll probably see some pretty specific team builds around her. Honestly, until we see what Cyrene can do, it’s tough to say exactly how strong Evernight will be in the bigger picture of the game.
For now, though, there are two main Evernight team comps that players can consider in HSR:
- Castorice + Evernight + Tribbie + Hyacine
- Evernight + Remembrance MC + Tribbie + Hyacine
Castorice + Evernight + Tribbie + Hyacine

Evernight works best when teamed with Castorice and Hyacine because they share similar health systems. While Remembrance MC is often considered for the last spot, Tribbie is usually a better choice. Tribbie fits the team dynamic more effectively and can boost the damage of all three characters – Castorice, Evernight, and Hyacine – something Remembrance MC can only do for a single character.
A key benefit of using both Evernight and RMC is the ability to free up Tribbie for use on a different team – a real advantage, given how useful Tribbie is in many situations. However, if both Tribbie and RMC aren’t available, you can substitute with other operators who provide similar buffs or debuffs. Good alternatives include Cipher, Ruan Mei, Sunday, Silver Wolf, and Pela.
Evernight + Remembrance MC + Tribbie + Hyacine

If you’re playing Evernight just to have fun with March 7th, you can build your team around her as your main damage dealer. To do this, you’ll need both RMC and Hyacine, as they’re the only Remembrance supports currently available in version 3.6. You can replace Tribbie with another unit if needed, but she’s still the best support option and will likely outperform others.
To help Evernight perform her best with this team, Hyacine needs her special weapon, “Long May Rainbows Adorn The Sky.” Having this weapon lets Evernight build up her Memoria more quickly, which will increase her damage output.
Does Evernight Works With Aglaea?

While Aglaea and Evernight *can* work together in a team, there are a few things to keep in mind. Aglaea isn’t the *best* partner for Evernight in Honkai: Star Rail, so here’s what you should know about this team combination.
- Aglaea must be fast so that she can move more and regenerate enough Energy to maintain her memosprite and SPD stacks.
- If Aglaea can’t consistently use her Ultimate, she may need Energy Regeneration Rate (ERR) Link Rope, or E1. A fast and properly built Sunday can also help.
- Hyacine must use Long May Rainbows Adorn The Sky to support Evernight’s stacks. Alternatively, Aglaea can use the Light Cone.
- Evernight is highly likely to need ERR to maintain her Ultimate, meaning her personal DMG will be affected.
- If Sunday is unavailable, he can be replaced by RMC, but Hyacine must be replaced by Huohuo. Aglaea will lack Energy regeneration without a battery like Sunday or Huohuo.
- It’s not recommended to use Evernight without Hyacine or with only two Remembrance characters in the team.
- Evernight only buffs Aglaea’s memosprite and not Aglaea herself. Since Aglaea deals damage on top of her memosprite, Evernight’s buff won’t enhance all of Aglaea’s hits.
Despite its drawbacks, Aglaea’s strongest team in Honkai: Star Rail is simpler to use and performs better than the Evernight team.
