Vision Quest Gets Release Date Window Update, Secret Character Revealed

There’s a new update on when the Disney+ show, Vision Quest, might be released. Filming for the WandaVision spin-off finished last July.

When is the possible release date window for Vision Quest?

Marvel Studios is aiming to release the “Vision Quest” series around the middle to late part of 2026, according to Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus. The show could premiere after the “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” movie on July 31, 2026, or possibly just before “Avengers: Doomsday” hits theaters on December 18, 2026.

When asked about Ruaridh Mollica’s role in Vision Quest, director Matt Shakman hinted that Mollica is playing a new version of Tommy Maximoff, also known as Speed. Mollica was initially announced as playing a character named Tucker. Jett Klyne originally played Tommy Maximoff/Speed in the Disney+ series WandaVision.

As a huge MCU fan, I’m really excited about the new Disney+ series, *Vision Quest*! It’s being spearheaded by Terry Matalas, the showrunner from *Star Trek: Picard*, who’s writing and directing, and also producing. The best part? Paul Bettany is back as White Vision! So far, the cast is shaping up to be incredible, with Emily Hampshire voicing E.D.I.T.H., T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, and Orla Brady returning as F.R.I.D.A.Y. Plus, we’re getting James Spader back as Ultron and Faran Tahir as Raza, which is fantastic. This is all coming on the heels of *Agatha All Along*’s successful debut – it’s currently sitting pretty with an 84% ‘Certified Fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so hopes are high!
