Crimson Desert is set to release on March 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

Pearl Abyss just released the last of three videos detailing features in their upcoming open-world game, Crimson Desert, which launches on March 19th. This new video focuses on what it’s like to live in the game world, showing off things like town life, cooking, hunting, gathering resources, and how you can customize your experience.

Key highlights of the features video include:

  • Players can collect resources in a variety of ways: fishing and hunting for cooking ingredients, gathering flowers and insects for alchemy, and mining or gathering materials to craft items and improve their equipment.

  • Greymane Camp is a settlement in Hernand founded by Kliff and his friends after they were forced to leave their home by the Black Bears. Players can use items and currency they find while exploring to improve the camp, making it a useful base for their adventures.

  • Inside the camp, players can build and manage farms and ranches to gather materials for cooking and crafting. They can also buy supplies from a shop and send their companions on missions to collect resources like wood and metal.

  • I love being able to make my character look totally unique in Pywel! You can find dyes all over the world, or even craft them if you’re into alchemy. It’s awesome because I can change up my outfit, hairstyle, and even get tattoos to really make my character me.

  • The game world’s towns and cities are filled with people like blacksmiths, tailors, and shopkeepers, as well as citizens who might need help. These characters will respond to how you play – if you act aggressively towards them, they might become hostile or even put a price on your head.

Pearl Abyss has shared the last of three videos showcasing Crimson Desert, giving players a detailed look at everyday life in the game’s world of Pywel.

Earlier videos showed off the game’s story, different areas, how you explore, quests, its open world, fighting, and how your character improves. The latest video dives into the world of Pywel and all the things players can do there.

This video explains the resources available in Pywel to help players on their journey. You can find cooking ingredients by fishing and hunting, gather flowers and bugs for alchemy, and collect materials through mining and gathering to craft items and improve your gear.

Players will discover Greymane Camp in Hernand, a settlement founded by Kliff and his followers after they were driven from their home by the Black Bears. By completing explorations and gathering resources, players can upgrade the camp, making it a key base of operations as they progress.

Inside the camp, players can build and manage farms and ranches to get materials for cooking and crafting. They can also buy supplies from a shop and send companions on missions to gather resources like wood and ore. These features let players develop and improve their camp over time. The preview also showed off how players can customize their characters, changing their clothes, hair, and tattoos with dyes they find or create to make them unique.

The world of Crimson Desert features towns and villages filled with people like blacksmiths, tailors, and merchants who need help. These characters will respond to how players act – becoming angry or even offering rewards for capturing players who cause trouble, making interactions more meaningful. Pearl Abyss recently announced that the game has already been wishlisted over 2 million times worldwide.
