The U.S. release of Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor has been delayed, according to a recent post on the official social media account. While a specific date hasn’t been announced yet, the game is expected to come to North America this spring.
We’re truly sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, especially to those eagerly awaiting the release and everyone involved. We appreciate your understanding as we work to launch in the United States.
Hunter x Hunter Fans in North America Left Out in Unfortunate ‘Nen x Survivor’ Delay
The highly anticipated mobile game based on HUNTER x HUNTER has been delayed in North America until 2026, but will now launch globally at the same time. Bushiroad announced in December that the game, a survival rogue-lite developed with WonderPlanet Inc., is the first of its kind in the HUNTER x HUNTER series. They stated that development is going well and the game will be released under their ‘Bushimo’ brand.
I’m so excited about Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor! You actually get to play as your favorite characters from Hunter x Hunter, building them up and battling tons of enemies in these really cool, top-down fights. The gameplay footage they’ve shown looks fantastic, and it really gives you a taste of what to expect when the game finally comes out!
Hunter x Hunter Manga Could Make a Return as Early as Spring 2026
Fans of Hunter x Hunter have a lot to look forward to in 2026, including the release of Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor. However, many are especially excited about the possibility of new volumes of the original manga. Creator Yoshihiro Togashi hinted at this in January, sharing a progress update that indicated work on volume 421 – including dialogue and cover art – was finished.
Hunter x Hunter has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1998, but the author, Togashi, has faced health issues that have caused long breaks in publication. Currently, chapter 410 is the most recent release, but new chapters are expected to come out relatively soon.
Hunter x Hunter Nen x Survivor will be arriving in North America some time this spring.
