Players of the game Arc Raiders have found a way to exploit a bug that lets them create unlimited copies of items. They’re taking advantage of this to collect tons of rubber ducks and quickly earn in-game currency.
Arc Raiders has been well-received since its release in late 2025, but it hasn’t been without issues. Players have encountered cheaters, and there have been several bugs and exploits discovered that give some players an unfair edge.
A bug that let players duplicate important items, such as weapons and ammunition, was fixed in the January 20th update.
It looks like a new exploit has emerged in the game. Players are suddenly showing up with unusually large amounts of Blueprints and Rubber Ducks, suggesting something is amiss.
Arc Raiders duplication glitch is back
Recently, players have been sharing screenshots online showing off unbelievably valuable collections of in-game items, often consisting of many of the same thing. For example, one player on Reddit posted a picture of their character with 17 Tempest Blueprints – a particularly rare and sought-after item.
Blueprints can’t be used more than once, but they’re worth 5,000 Coins if you sell them. This has led to suspicions that people are either making copies to earn extra money, or sharing them with others.

It’s funny, but this trick also works with Rubber Ducks! The Arc Raiders community was already obsessed with collecting them – so much so that the developers initially limited the number you could get to 600. But with the new Bird City event, these ducks have become even more valuable than just collectibles.
The Buried City map has a unique feature: colorful ducks appear with various designs. The most valuable of these, called Familiar Ducks, can be sold for 7,000 Coins.
Players have discovered a glitch that lets them duplicate in-game items, and many are taking advantage of it to amass large quantities. One player, ‘TheRooster’ on X, shared a picture of their character surrounded by ducks, showing they had collected 417 of them. These ducks could be sold for almost 3 million Coins.
This bug isn’t just affecting players – it’s also impacting ducks in the game! Players are exploiting it to earn huge amounts of in-game currency, and it needs to be addressed. @ARCRaidersGame, please fix this issue!

The exact method behind this new exploit is still unknown, and players are currently sharing various ideas about how it’s done.
Players are trying to figure out how to duplicate valuable items. Some believe it’s possible by connecting their computer or gaming console to their phone’s mobile hotspot, a method that worked before a recent game update. Others suggest repeatedly leaving and rejoining a game lobby might trick the system into creating duplicate items.
Considering how profitable this is for players, expect a fix or change to be implemented soon.
