Farming action-adventure RPG Emberville set to release via Steam Early Access this summer

Developer Cygnus Cross has officially revealed Emberville, a farming-focused action RPG that will be available on Steam Early Access this summer.

Emberville, a game three years in the making, is being created with the help of popular Twitch streamer CohhCarnage. It boasts voice acting from Alex Jordan and Doug Cockle, and offers players a unique experience with its randomly generated world, flexible character classes, and fast-paced combat.

Cygnus Cross, a new game developer, announced today that their first game, Emberville, will be available in Early Access on Steam this summer. Emberville is an action-adventure RPG that takes the “farm and fight” genre to the next level, featuring easy-to-learn but strategic combat, a unique skill progression system, and tough boss battles. A new trailer gives players a sneak peek at the gameplay.

Emberville, a game in development since 2023, has teamed up with well-known Twitch streamer CohhCarnage. He’s been a key partner in creating the game, working closely with the developers. CohhCarnage describes Emberville as a blend of beloved gaming elements and fresh, engaging features, built by and for gamers. He and the team are excited to share their years-long adventure with players.

Cygnus Cross announced today that Alex Jordan and Doug Cockle are among the first voice actors joining the game, bringing their talents to currently unnamed characters. The game will be fully voiced, with more well-known actors to be revealed soon.

In Emberville, players have a lot of freedom to customize their experience. You can build and create as you like, and fight however you choose. The game features an easy-to-learn, two-button combat system, but adds depth with weapon-based combos and skills tied to your character class. By leveling up different classes, you can unlock new combos and attacks, allowing you to create a truly unique fighting style and deliver powerful blows to your enemies.

Players can build and customize their own space with buildings, decorations, farms, and crafting stations.
