In Kirby Air Riders, you collect Miles to purchase items like hats, stickers, and new rides. Having lots of Miles lets you customize your experience! This guide will explain how to earn Miles, and we’ll also share some tips to help you collect them quickly.
How Do You Get Miles in Kirby Air Riders?
Overall, there are two ways to get Miles in Kirby Air Riders:
- Playing Modes – Air Ride, Top Ride, City Trial, and Road Trip
- Completing Specific Checklist objectives
You earn Miles in Kirby Air Ride by playing any of the game’s modes. Whether you prefer Air Ride, Top Ride, City Trial, or Road Trip, you’ll receive Miles as you play. Feel free to focus on the modes you enjoy most!
Playing online consistently earns you more Miles than playing offline, even in modes with computer-controlled opponents like City Trials. You’ll always get a better Miles reward when you’re connected.
You earn a set number of Miles for each race or match, but you can earn even more by completing certain actions. Things like getting stat boosts in City Trial, using your special ability, and defeating opponents will all give you a little extra Miles. It might not seem like much at first, but these small gains really add up over time.
Furthermore, by just playing the game, you’ve probably completed a few objectives. But did you know
Tips on Farming Miles in Air Riders
City Trial currently appears to reward the most Miles, regardless of how you play. It’s the most time-consuming option, though. If you enjoy a particular game type from City Trial, you can also repeatedly play in Stadium mode. I typically earn between 1,000 and 4,000 Miles per City Trial game, and you can maximize your earnings by:
- Playing longer matches (customizing game length)
- Performing well in Events
- Completing Checklist objectives
Some players might recommend Road Trip, but be warned – it’s a very long game mode. While it’s enjoyable, it’s really a one-time experience; you likely won’t want to play it again after finishing it once.
City Trial can sometimes feel a bit samey, but the different events and stadium modes help keep each match fresh. Plus, with so many characters and vehicles to choose from, it’s enjoyable experimenting with different combinations and strategies.
If you want to level up quickly, repeatedly playing City Trial Stadium levels is a good option. Modes like Rail Panic are especially fast, often taking only about thirty seconds. Top Ride and Air Ride are also quick, though the length of each race depends on the map. However, I generally suggest completing a full City Trial game for the best experience.
It’s also worth remembering that each mode has different goals within the checklist. To help you out, we’ve listed all of those goals below.
List of Checklist Objectives with Miles as Rewards
| Mode | Objective | Miles |
| Air Ride | Keep a star slide going for 4 seconds | 300 |
| Air Ride | On “Steamgust Forge”, pass over the top of the Goal Gate | 300 |
| Air Ride | On “Mount Amberfalls”, defeat an enemy Cappy and leave only the cap behind | 300 |
| Air Ride | On “Cyberion Highway”, grow both bigger and smaller in a single race | 300 |
| Top Ride | On “Air” Finish 4 laps within 1:10:00 | 300 |
| Top Ride | Win with the course, rider, and machine set to random | 300 |
| Top Ride | On “Cave”, finish without getting any items | 300 |
| Top Ride | Win on “Steam” using the Tank Star | 300 |
| Top Ride | On “Flower”, win without Boosting | 300 |
| City Trial | On “Highjump” fly to a height of 110 Yd | 300 |
| City Trial | On “Kirby Melee 2”, get at least 30 points without copying Enemy Abilities | 300 |
| City Trial | On “Beam Gauntlet”, Finish within 0:35:00 | 300 |
| Road Trip | Eat 20 kind of food items during a Gourmet race Challenge | 300 |
| Road Trip | Press a big button during a button rush challenge | 300 |
| Road Trip | Obtain 12 kinds of machines | 300 |
So, that covers how to earn Miles in Kirby Air Riders. Reaching 100,000 Miles will take some effort, but with enough playtime, you’ll be able to get everything you want.
You can spend Miles on items like hats and machine decals, as well as custom-made machines from other players. However, the price of a machine goes up each time someone buys it online, which can make pricier options hard to get. Also, you won’t earn any Miles when you sell your own creations.
