Arc Raiders cheaters are still getting into the walls despite patch

Despite a recent update, Arc Raiders players are still encountering a bug where enemies can glitch through the environment – appearing on ceilings and walls – and attack them.

Arc Raiders has recently faced issues with players cheating and exploiting the game. A particularly well-known problem was a glitch on the Stella Montis map, where players could escape the playable area and unfairly attack enemies from outside the normal boundaries.

Embark Studios released a patch on January 20th to fix several spots on the Stella Montis map where players could fall out of the game world. While fans were hopeful this would solve the problem, many players are still experiencing the issue after the update.

Arc Raiders ceiling exploit is alive and well

IGN noticed that players are still reporting a frustrating bug in Arc Raiders where enemy teams are invisible to them, according to discussions on the game’s official Discord server.

Seriously, I thought they patched the Stella wall glitches, but I’m still getting killed by people exploiting them! One of us said it’s like they didn’t fix anything at all. It’s super frustrating to die because of a glitch, you know?

From what people are saying on Discord, some cheating spots have been fixed, but a few areas still allow players to glitch outside the playable area.

I’ve been playing Stella, and they fixed a bunch of the simpler bugs, which is great! But honestly, there are still a couple of glitches – maybe two or three – that they haven’t gotten around to yet.

It seems developers have implemented a new feature to address a glitch. A player named ‘CDNThe3rd’ shared a video showing an enemy firing from outside the map through the ceiling. Although the attacker’s game showed damage being dealt, the player receiving the shots wasn’t actually harmed.

There’s been an update to the wall exploit in Stella. You can still move through walls, but your shots won’t actually hurt anyone. It seems like the developers at Embark Studios might have put in a temporary fix to prevent damage while they work on a permanent solution. What does everyone else think? #ArcRaiders @EmbarkStudios

Some believe this might be a temporary measure – a way to disable the exploit while Embark develops a complete solution.

The team hasn’t confirmed if they know the problems are still happening, or if they have a fix planned. Fans are hoping the glitch that sends players out of bounds is resolved quickly.

Good news – Embark Studios is now giving back items to players who lose them because of cheaters. So even if you’re defeated unfairly, you won’t permanently lose your gear.
