It’s become a running joke that reality stars in Utah seem to have a connection to Ben Affleck. When Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow claimed she’d hung out with Affleck and Blake Lively, people started asking questions. Affleck was recently asked about knowing Barlow, and he admitted he didn’t remember her. He seemed hesitant to deny the story outright, saying he meets so many people he couldn’t possibly recall everyone. Even when shown a photo of Barlow, Affleck still didn’t recognize her, adding that he didn’t want to be rude and say he met her if she didn’t remember him. He explained that it’s common to meet many people without necessarily forming a lasting memory.
Ben Affleck and Blake Lively both attended premieres at SXSW in Austin, Texas. A fan, Barlow, shared TikTok clips of them at the events with the caption “Ben and Blake 🤍” and disabled comments. While the videos show they were at the same events, it doesn’t necessarily mean Barlow knows either of them – they could have just exchanged quick greetings. As with anything online, proof is key! Perhaps a Dunkin’ commercial featuring both of them is all it would take to bring them together.
