Episodes 7 and 8 of Idol showed the consequences of Ra-ik finding out Sena supports a rival group, while the investigation into Wooseong’s murder became even more complicated. If you’re eager to see what happens next, here are the details for when Episodes 9 and 10 will be available on Netflix.
January 2026 promises a lot of new television shows, and K-drama fans are especially excited about “Idol I.” This series is a unique blend of romantic comedy and murder mystery, centering around Maeng Se-na, a lawyer known for her tough tactics in court who secretly loves K-pop.
When someone from the popular group Gold Boys is killed, Se-na must protect her idol, Do Ra-ik. As they get closer, the mystery surrounding the murder becomes more complicated.
While not an original Netflix series, Netflix has the rights to stream ‘Idol I’ and will release episodes according to the schedule used by the Korean channel ENA. Here’s information on when to expect the next episodes, plus a summary of what happened in Part 4.
Idol I Part 5 release date & time
The ninth episode of Idol will be available on Netflix on January 19, 2026, followed by the tenth episode on January 20th. While the episodes premiere in Korea at 10 PM KST, viewers in the US can expect them to appear on Netflix around 10 AM Eastern Time / 7 AM Pacific Time.
Okay, so new episodes are coming out according to the Korean release schedule, not whenever Netflix usually drops things globally. Basically, don’t expect all the episodes at once – they’ll be released a little bit at a time each week.
