Popular Twitch streamer TheBurntPeanut says he’ll stop playing ARC Raiders if the game developers don’t fix the problem with cheaters and players who target him during streams.
In late 2025, the game ARC Raiders from Embark became popular on Twitch. This more relaxed take on the ‘extraction shooter’ genre—unlike the intense game Escape from Tarkov—quickly rose to the top of the platform, attracting a lot of players and viewers.
By 2026, the game started experiencing issues with players cheating and unfairly using information from live streams. Popular players like Shroud and Nadeshot asked the game developers to address these problems. The developers, Embark, responded by promising to implement anti-cheat measures.
Despite the initial improvements, some streamers are still facing issues with hackers and glitchers. This affects popular players like TheBurntPeanut, who gained fame through ARC, and he’s now considering focusing on other games.
TheBurntPeanut may quit ARC Raiders
During a livestream on January 15th, the VTuber named ‘VTuber of the Year’ said he might stop playing ARC Raiders if people keep cheating and trying to disrupt his streams.
He demanded they immediately fix the problems, threatening to leave if they didn’t. He formally complained, stating he would leave if a solution wasn’t provided.
This is unbelievable. If those players aren’t banned from the game, I seriously doubt I’ll continue playing. I really don’t think I’ll play anymore.
Please resolve this issue, or I’m leaving. The Burnt Peanut is constantly being hacked by the same three people, and I’m asking Embark Studios to take action.

Peanut isn’t the only streamer voicing concerns, but he’s the most well-known one to publicly consider leaving ARC.
Nadeshot pointed out that cheating in the game is now even more rampant than in Call of Duty and suggested Embark look into solutions. However, he also acknowledged that it’s incredibly difficult for developers to stay ahead of cheaters.
Developers have already banned a group of cheaters, but players, similar to one named Peanut, are asking for these bans to be permanent instead of temporary suspensions.
