A week ago, IO Interactive revealed the PC specs for 007 First Light.
Fortunately, the game is quite forgiving when it comes to hardware. You can run it with an NVIDIA GTX 1660 or AMD RX 6700 XT and either an Intel Core i5-9500K or AMD Ryzen 5 3500 processor. Even the recommended specs – an Intel Core i5-13500 or AMD Ryzen 5 7600 paired with an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti or AMD RX 6700 XT – aren’t too demanding.
As a PC gamer, I’m really happy to see that you won’t need a super expensive rig to play the new 007 game! It’s great news for those of us who don’t want to spend a fortune on upgrades. Apparently, the developers, IOI, realized their initial specs were a little high. Luckily, it’s not a huge deal – they’ve lowered the minimum video RAM requirement from 8GB to 6GB, and the recommended amount from 12GB to 8GB. They also cut the recommended system RAM down to 16GB from a whopping 32GB! That’s a big relief.

Okay, so I’ve got the latest and greatest on what your PC needs to run this game – a complete rundown of the minimum and recommended specs. And just a heads-up, they quietly updated it again, so this is the current info.

We used to list the “Intel Core i5 9500K” as our minimum processor requirement, but that model doesn’t actually exist.
IOI updated the game’s requirements after players complained about issues with the original PC specs.
We previously shared incorrect specifications due to a miscommunication within our team. We’ve now reviewed everything carefully and run additional tests. The recommended RAM has been updated to 16GB (previously 32GB), VRAM values have been corrected, and we’ve fixed the minimum required CPU. We’ll share more detailed performance goals closer to the product launch.
The new James Bond game, 007 First Light, will be available on May 27, 2026, for PC, Xbox, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
